Such an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in we felt has we were in Italy. Everyone there is Italian. The food was to die for, I was craving for lasagna and boy they had the best lasagna I ever had in my entire life, my husband got the Pork Osso Buco, it literally melted in the mouth, so flavorful served with homemade fettuccine in a pink sauce, we ended this luscious dinner experience with the tiramisu and the chocolate salami, their's specialty dessert, again, unbelievable. This was our first time and for sure will not be the last. AMBIENCE 5 STAR,FOOD 5 STAR, SERVICE 5 STAR. Do yourself a favor and try this gem in the U.T.C. area. Thank you Stella. -

Came here with another couple and had a nice meal. For dinner the small starter of champagne was a nice touch. We shared calamari (pretty standard) and proscuitto bruschetta, which was a generous portion and more like a flatbread pizza. Our server was friendly and helpful. Following his recommendation our friends chose the house made lobster ravioli, which were large and more thick-skinned than most, which they seemed to enjoy. They also shared the gnocchi, which was also a good portion.
I had the lasagna, which I was very happy with. The house made noodles were very thin and tender, making it easy to pierce with a fork. The flavor was great, and while the portion didn't look huge at first, it was actually super filling. My husband got one of the specials which was a pork osso buco with a side of mushroom pasta. Again, large portions, and tasty. Overall the food was quite enjoyable. Not inexpensive enough to feel like a great deal, but solid.
The service was good, but I think we had a slight miscommunication after we ate where our server kindly let us sit and talk and enjoy each others company, but we thought we were getting the check. We are pretty sure the way he said it he was giving us time to relax and socialize which was nice. We just had to flag him down to clarify we were done. Nice place in a kind of strange location. Very good lasagna. -

Stella just got a downgrade in my opinion due to EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I left my passport card at home by mistake. My husband texted me a picture of it. It's not expired. It has my name on it. I have ID. The card number is very clear to see. It's obviously my current card.
This has happened a couple of times at other restaurants where I've left my card at home and had a picture texted and they accepted it no problem because usually they just write down the number to type it in at the register.
But here at Stella they absolutely refused to accept the card because I didn't have the physical card with me.
I guess this policy of theirs not to honor my $20 discount is worth it to them losing the two or three visits I make a month with my friends because we are not going to be back here because of this. Not only that, I have recommended the restaurant to others from time to time. No more.
In addition to this, the quality of food has gone down. The bread for example used to be phenomenal. The last two times I have come here it is reheated and stale on the bread part, and slightly soggy at the crust. Pretty much the opposite of how it should be and used to be. When I asked them to switch it for fresh bread I was just brought another batch of the same poor quality.
Such a pity. It used to be such a lovely place to come eat. Now they just don't seem to care and in my opinion they seem to think it's ok to offer less in quality and customer service instead of stepping it up to compete with the new restaurants coming up at UTC and one Paseo. -

First time eating here, and it was definitely a hidden gem. Food was great. I got the spaghetti carbonara and my bf got the lasagna. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I will definitely come back again.
